Safeguarding

Everyone supported by Renavea, and everyone working through Renavea, should be safe and treated with respect. Concerns are taken seriously and acted on.

Raising a concern

If you are worried that an adult or child is being harmed, neglected or placed at risk, contact us straight away using the details below. Tell us what you have seen or been told, and when.

What we do

  • Record the concern and make sure the person is safe in the immediate term.
  • Refer the concern to the relevant local authority safeguarding team, and to the police where a crime may have been committed.
  • Cooperate with any enquiry and take action with the workers involved.
  • Keep the person raising the concern informed as far as we properly can.

Emergencies

If someone is in immediate danger call 999. For urgent medical advice call NHS 111. The Renavea on-call line is for service matters and is not an emergency service.

Our service scope

Renavea provides non-regulated practical, household and community support. Where a person's needs fall outside that scope we say so openly and explain that an appropriately registered or clinical provider is needed.
