Postnatal Practical Support

Practical help for new mothers and families during the early weeks and months after birth, allowing more time for rest, recovery and family routines.

Starting price in

From £34 per hour

Minimum booking 3 hours

  • Practical help with the baby while the parent rests, within the agreed non-clinical role
  • Laundry, tidying and light household tasks
  • Meal preparation and batch cooking
  • Shopping and errands
  • Calm daytime companionship and practical assistance

This is practical household and family support. It is not maternity care, midwifery, nursing, sleep training or clinical postnatal care.

Good to know

  • Evening or weekend: add £3.00 per hour.
  • Bank holiday: 1.5 times the standard rate.
  • Postnatal package: 5% discount when 20 hours are booked, or 8% when 40 hours are booked and scheduled in advance.

All charges are confirmed in writing before support begins and remain subject to assessment, availability and travel requirements.

Where we support

Support is currently arranged across North London and Bedfordshire. Travel requirements are confirmed before an arrangement begins.

The scope of our service

Renavea currently provides non-regulated practical, household and community support. We do not provide regulated personal care, nursing, clinical treatment or medication administration. Medication reminders may be offered only where agreed. We will explain openly when a person's needs fall outside our present service and require an appropriately registered or clinical provider.
