Step by step

How a visit can help

  1. 1

    Arrive and settle

A friendly, familiar face arrives at the agreed time so the carer can hand over calmly.

  2. 2

    Company and routine

Conversation, familiar activities and the everyday routine continue as usual.

  3. 3

    Out and about

Community access or appointment companionship where this has been agreed in the plan.

  4. 4

    Handover

A short update at the end of the visit so the carer knows how the time went.
